Dr Timothy Chan

Geriatrician and Perioperative Care Physician

Dr Timothy Chan is a Geriatrician and Perioperative Care Physician. 

He graduated from the University of Adelaide and completed his dual fellowship training in Geriatrics and General Medicine at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Lyell McEwin Hospital. He is currently a staff specialist Geriatrician at Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospital with special interest in Orthogeriatrics and Perioperative for older people undergoing elective surgery. 

His other areas of interest include:
· Neurodegenerative disorders (Dementia/Memory Disorders)
· Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments
· Falls
· Bone Health and osteoporosis
· Undifferentiated weight loss, anaemia
· Management of chronic diseases including diabetes, chronic heart failure
